Is This Our Dog?

Will dropped her off and I don't know what he told them to do....but when I got her I didn't recognize her. I just saw this other dog that happened to be really excited to see me. Then I looked closer. These pictures don't even do justice about how different she looks. Will keeps saying to her, "I'm so sorry, I won't ever do this to you again."

I am worried about the rough play around here. The dogs bite on the cheeks (face cheeks not butt cheeks) and necks but now her parts don't have fur...so I'm a bit worried about that.

Life with Buddy

Yes everyone thinks we are crazy for getting a third dog in a townhouse minus a backyard. We are crazy...crazy about our animals. This is Buddy with that awful cone on his head, laying on his back, with his legs spread, and "airing" out the area!

This was a tornado warning and bad thunder and lightning. I don't think Buddy was such a fan as he squished his way under this really little table by our couch.
Now that Buddy is all healed nicely we are seeing he is totally still a puppy and ready to play! This will look scary to you, but they do this and "talk" make noises the whole time, laying down, mouth wide open, and lots of teeth. While Jade rests and occasionally comes over and bites a leg or a cheek to start more trouble!

Tuna Delight

from Healthy Doggie Biscuts Book by Jonna Anne

1 C cornmeal
1 C whole wheat flour
1/4 tsp baking powder
4 oz tuna fish (canned in oil)
1/2 C water

1. Combine dry ingredients and set aside.
2. Puree tuna with oil and water in food processor.
3. Blend dry and wet ingredients to form a dough.
4. Roll out about 1/2 inch thick. Cut into shapes.
5. Bake at 350 for 30 minutes.

I actually think Behr would like this better without being baked. He prefers soft treats and refuses Milkbones these days. Maybe that's because I'm making his treats!

Are you in need of a senior female GSD?

Gretta lives here in West Ashley. She is being fostered by my friend Michelle. If you'd like to have her please contact me!
